What you need to know about Ringmer

There are two railway stations close to Ringmer: Lewes and Cooksbridge. The village, tucked three miles east of Lewes, also has access to the A26 main road. Its most iconic landmarks in it are the Ringmer Church, the Windmill and the cricket team memorial, which commemorates the 28 members of the local cricket club who died in World War I.

Ringmer is generally quiet, with lovely pubs and a strong sense of community. It’s home to some great eateries – especially for Sunday roasts – and offers easy access to lush countryside. There are several good schools in the village and in the nearby Lewes.
