How does it work?

In recognition of the amazing work our Armed Forces do for our country, we’re helping military personnel to buy their own home.

The Armed Forces scheme is made up of three elements, of which you can choose to combine. To purchase a new-build Bovis Home, you can use any or all of the following:

The Armed Forces Help to Buy scheme from the MOD offers an interest-free advance on your salary.
The Bovis Homes exclusive military services discount: 1.5% discount off the list price*
£3,000 contribution towards flooring*

Who is eligible?

To qualify for the Bovis Homes Armed Forces scheme, you need to be a serving member of the Regular and Reserve UK Armed Forces and to have passed Phase 1 of your training.

In 2019, Bovis Homes was recognised for its support of the Armed Forces with a prestigious Gold Award, as part of the Ministry of Defence Employee Recognition Scheme (ERS), which we are proud to have maintained.

It’s an initiative we’re involved in to offer fair opportunity and social access to past or current members of the Armed Forces and their families.

How does it work

Armed Forces Discount Scheme is available on our selected new build homes only, subject to contract and eligibility criteria. To qualify you must be a currently serving member of the regular or reserve UK Armed Forces and have passed Phase 1 of your training. You must provide us with evidence of your status in the UK Armed Forces and that you meet these requirements which is satisfactory to us. A 1.5% discount (capped at £5,000) of the list price will be deducted from the purchase price of a new home from us at legal completion. £3,000 contribution towards flooring will be deducted from funds due on legal completion of the purchase of a new home from us. Forces Help to Buy has specific terms and conditions and is subject to affordability criteria as prescribed by the Homes and Communities Agency and the Ministry of Defence.
