With the countryside just a stone’s throw away from our new build houses in East Sussex, you can explore the lush green spaces with your family whenever you want. One of the more popular spaces is the Ashdown Forest, to which you’ll be conveniently close. This beautiful landscape inspired the world of Winnie-the-Pooh; what better endorsement for a place to go exploring with your children?
You’re never far from local amenities with easy access to Crowborough from our new housing development. Here you’ll find many of the leading supermarket brands like Lidl and Waitrose for all your grocery needs. It’s also the ideal place to do a bit of much-needed retail therapy every now and again. There’s a host of top-quality fashion stores to suit all styles.
You’ll also find plenty of excellent eateries that are suitable families, from delicious pub food to restaurants specialising in delicious Turkish, Italian and Indian cuisine – and more besides.
If you’re keen to enjoy a date night or an evening away from the kids then there are plenty of options for getting a drink with your significant other. The local pub to your new build home will be The Wheatsheaf, an 18th-century-style pub which has a beer garden and open fires for when the temperature drops in winter.
Getting into, out of and around Crowborough is straightforward, too, as our new build homes are just half a mile away from the train station, which has direct travel into London. For those who prefer to drive, the A26 passes straight through the town, so northbound travel to London or southbound to Brighton is easy.
Our homes are close to great schooling options for all ages, making them perfect for growing families or first-time buyers who may be thinking about the future.
For primary school, Jarvis Brook Primary School and Ashdown Primary School are two well-regarded places to send your children. They’re both located less than a mile away from our new housing development!
Children of secondary-school age are served by Beacon Academy, which is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The school is just over a mile away from our new build homes, so it can be reached on foot or by public transport.
